I was not offered a choice of skis in the category I had selected and paid for

They were ok and friendly enough, but the ski selection was poor and although I had reserved premium skis, they tried to give me standard skis. I also was not asked what type of skis I would like and was simply proffered a regular set of short, carving skis. I had to explain what I was after to the assistant, who told me they didn’t have much in stock as it was the end of the season. I ended up looking through the stock myself and finding something vaguely suitable.
