El Tarter ski resort is part of the largest ski area in the Pyrenees called Grandvalira. The Grandvalira ski area consists of 110 slopes and has continued to grow with more and more facilities added each season. The Grandvalira ski area has 193 kilometres of varied ski runs, situated between 1710 and 2640 metres altitude, offering plenty of options for all levels. As the largest ski area in Andorra, it has come to be known as the snow capital of the Pyrenees. Grandvalira is the only ski resort in the Pyrenees with 4 snowparks and a Freestyle Academy.
