Skiing in Montriond
As part of the Portes du Soleil international ski area, which links 12 resorts between France and Switzerland, the Montriond-Morzine ski destination boasts the longest runs in the Alps in a setting that combines snow and sun: some 650 kilometres of varied runs set in enchanting landscapes. The Portes du Soleil ski area offers skiers of all abilities 296 runs (28 black, 106 red, 127 blue and 35 green), served by 194 ski lifts. There are also 11 snowparks, 4 boardercrosses and no fewer than 90 restaurants on the slopes! Montriond boasts one of the longest runs in the Portes du Soleil: the Abricotine. This run stretches for 8 kilometres from the ridges marking the Swiss border to the Ardent gondola lift.
