The resort of Serfaus

The Serfaus holiday resort is a municipality with 1151 inhabitants. It is part of the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis ski area in Tyrol, Austria, in the back part of the Inn Valley in Tyrol. Serfaus is the ideal holiday destination for winter sports fans. The ski resort not only offers ideal conditions for winter holidays thanks to its many different slopes. The lively resort also offers a tourist office, accommodation such as superb wellness hotels, shopping facilities such as supermarkets and numerous small shops, a choice of restaurants and numerous activities for young and old alike. As the centre of the resort must remain car-free, the means of transport available is the world's smallest metro, the highest and floating on a cushion of air.

The blue, red and black ski runs of the Serfaus ski area offer ideal conditions for beginners, intermediate skiers and professionals alike. With a total of 68 modern facilities and 214 kilometres of pistes, the ski resort offers everything skiers could dream of, from carving runs to steep descents to the north. There are numerous modern lifts, including one with heated seats, which take skiers to the ski resort of their choice. The Serfaus ski area extends from an altitude of around 1,200 to 2,820 metres and has 214 kilometres of pistes. The 68 runs have guaranteed snow cover, which means guaranteed skiing fun right through to spring. Night skiing at Serfaus is a great experience for ski enthusiasts. On a floodlit slope under a romantic starry sky, skiers and snowboarders can experience the thrill of the medium downhill run. A hike into the winter wonderland glistening in the snow is also a great business idea off the slopes. The region's observation platforms offer breathtaking views of the snow-capped mountains. The "Nid d'aigle" observation platform offers a special adventure, as it is reached via a vertiginous little suspension bridge. Romantic horse-drawn carriage rides through the snow-covered landscape or an exceptional breakfast in the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis "Genussgondel" with Tyrolean specialities and other treats are also possible and certainly recommended in the Serfaus ski resort.
