Masella is a winter sports resort in the Pyrenees. It is linked by a cable car with neighbouring resort La Molina creating the Alp 2500 ski area. Situated at an altitude of between 1,600 and 2,537 metres, the ski resort is renowned for its excellent snow conditions, thanks to its northerly orientation. The resort of Masella
Located in the Cerdagne valley, right in the heart of the Pyrenees and close to the border with France and Andorra, is the ski resort of Masella, a first-rate resort for lovers of snow and winter sports. Just 90 minutes from Barcelona, Masella not only boasts magnificent scenery, but also 50 different slopes and 19 variants, for a total of 74 kilometres of skiable terrain. The resort has slopes and runs of varying altitude and difficulty, ideal for beginners and more experienced skiers alike, which you can access with ski passes and other types of passes, depending on the length of your stay. The resort has a number of restaurants, bars, ski and snowboard hire shops and hotels so you can enjoy everything this amazing place has to offer. Skiing in Masella
90% of the runs are to the north, with 380 snow canyons covering a total of 30 kilometres. What's more, of the 74 kilometres, 53 kilometres have produced snow. Masella guarantees quality snow from November to April, whatever the weather conditions. Its pistes are divided according to degree of difficulty and altitude. The most difficult runs feature natural snow, snow changes, bumps, jumps, forced passages and cornices, with greater exposure to the wind, and are a must for the most technical sportsmen and women. The resort has a total of 17 lifts, including chairlifts, drag lifts and conveyor belts, as well as 578 canyons, 578 snow cannons and 935 metres of vertical drop. The summit of La Tosa is the highest point, at 2,535 metres. The Snowpark la Pleta is the most important point of the resort, very modern, where you can enjoy the latest trends in winter sports.

As well as skiing and snowboarding, Masella offers night skiing, ski mountaineering and telemark skiing. You can also enjoy the indoor swimming pool, gym, a wide range of gourmet food and a disco.
