In the afternoon I returned to the shop to complain that my skis were making a creaking sound. When I raised concerns about the equipment, I was met with dismissive and unhelpful responses from your staff. There were two members of staff in the shop and the female member dismissed my concerns and said it was normal. I informed her I am an experience skier and said I have never heard a ski creak before but she said it is the different snow! The staff did not even ask to see the ski or investigate the problem when I reported it – which I find unacceptable. It was not as if they were busy as I was the only customer of the day according to the staff. The following morning whilst skiing down Point de la mass – during a fast turn the ski Binding broke causing me to fall at quite a high speed. Luckily I was able to retrieve the ski which went a few hundred meters down the slope and picked up by a someone on the slope (as the brake was not on the ski). I lost nearly a morning of skiing and had to an injury (bad bruise) to my upper thigh for the remainder of the trip. Skimium took up the issue and refunded half a days ski hire
