Before heading off to the Encamp ski area, get your ski equipment from our ski hire shop in Encamp, then take the Funicamp. This lift is the only funitel in the Pyrenees and the longest in the world at 6 kilometres. It drops skiers off on the Cortals ridge at an altitude of 2502 metres in 18 minutes.

Skiing in Encamp

When you choose the ski resort of Encamp, you get to enjoy a stay in the largest ski area in the Pyrenees: Grandvalira. Your Grandvalira ski pass gives you access to 210 kilometres of pistes divided into 132 runs: 33 black, 31 red, 46 blue and 22 green. The ski resort of Encamp is perfect for families, but there's plenty to keep alternative snow sports fans entertained too. The ski area's three snowparks will provide freestylers of all abilities with modules to suit their level. Beginners can even take advantage of the expert advice offered by the only freestyle school in the region. Freeriders won't be outdone with two marked areas in the Grau Roig and El Tarter sectors.
