Located at the foot of Mont Blanc on the Italian side at an altitude of 1,704 metres, Courmayeur is one of the most prestigious ski resorts in the Aosta Valley. The Courmayeur ski area, just 22 kilometres from Chamonix, was originally a popular spa resort. Later, this small village in the Aosta Valley quickly became the mountaineering capital of Italy, before establishing itself as one of the leading ski resorts in the Alps. Skiing in Courmayeur - Plan Chécrouit

With 95 kilometres of pistes, the Courmayeur ski area has plenty of descents to discover. From an altitude of 1704 metres to 2755 metres, 11 blue, 22 red and 4 black runs will delight skiers and snowboarders of all abilities. A snowpark and 19 kilometres of cross-country ski runs complete the ski area's offer. With the Courmayeur ski pass, you can access the wide slopes of the Plan Chécrouit side directly from the resort, and the winding slopes of the Val Veny area from the hamlet of Entrèves. During your stay in Courmayeur, you can also choose the Mont Blanc Unlimited ski pass. This will give you access to 10 ski areas (including Saint-Gervais, Megève and Chamonix) and take you to the Aiguille du Midi, the Mer de Glace and the Mont Blanc Tramway to enhance your stay.

The tourist office is located in the centre of the ski resort, just a short walk from the Dolonne and Courmayeur ski lifts.
