The resort of Chatel

Nestled in the Abondance valley in Haute-Savoie, the Châtel ski area is set at an altitude of between 1,200 and 2,200 metres. The village of Châtel welcomes you in an authentic spirit with its magnificent wooden chalets. The Châtel ski area offers skiers 46 marked runs (including 9 green runs, 17 blue runs, 14 red runs and 6 black runs) spread over 83 kilometres and 1100 metres of vertical drop, with panoramic views of the mountains! The resort's favourable altitude and 43 lifts ensure good snow coverage. The ski resort of Châtel offers fun for all levels: experienced skiers can enjoy the black runs as well as off-piste skiing when conditions allow. Beginner skiers will be able to learn to ski safely with gentle slopes.
