The Cerler ski resort is a Spanish resort located in the heart of the Benasque valley. Ranging in altitude from 1,500 metres to 2,630 metres, it is an ideal destination for skiers of all abilities. The resort of Cerler
Perched between 1,500 and 2,630 metres above sea level, Cerler is the highest ski resort in the Aragonese Pyrenees. Located in Spain's Benasque valley, it is both dynamic and very family-friendly. In 2014, the ski area was voted "Best Ski Resort in Spain" by the World Ski Awards. Skiing in Cerler
The Cerler ski area comprises 3 ski sectors: Cerler, Ampriu and Cota 2000. After choosing your equipment in the Cerler ski hire shop, you can go straight to the lifts. Cerler ski resort has 19 lifts and 67 runs, giving you 79 kilometres of skiing. The resort is renowned for its steep slopes, but also for its 9km run starting at Gallinero and ending at Cerler 1500. Freeriders will also find their paradise at the foot of Pic Aneto, with its breathtaking panoramic views. For the more motivated, the ski area offers the "10ml safari", which consists of skiing on 45 of the resort's runs without passing the same spot twice, while accumulating 10,000 metres of vertical drop. For the more competitive, the Chronoslalom run will time your descent in a giant slalom, giving you the sensation of taking part in a real competition.
Activities in Cerler
The Cerler ski resort offers services for the little ones thanks to the snow garden located in the Ampriu sector, an ideal place for learning to ski. If you want to try another activity, let yourself be tempted by the snowmobile circuit open on the Ampriu sector, thrills guaranteed! The resort also offers the chance to drive a real dog-drawn sleigh. During this unique ride, you'll be told the legend of Panuk, the white wolf who became man's best friend. But there are plenty of other activities besides skiing: cross-country skiing, ice skating, inner-tube sliding, winter hiking, etc. When night falls, Cerler ski resort is transformed by its festive entertainment: themed evenings, 100% Spanish evenings, etc. The resort also boasts one of the best atmospheres in the Pyrenees!
