Argentière, a municipality in its own right within Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, is a ski resort located at an altitude of 1,250 metres, linked to the Grands Montets ski area. It is also attached to the commune of Vallorcine, close to the Aiguilles Rouges nature reserve. The village offers breathtaking views of the Argentière glacier. Skiing in Argentière
Beginners and experienced skiers alike can enjoy all the pleasures of the slopes at the Grands-Montets ski area, with views of Mont Blanc: it gives access to 184 km of pistes! The high altitude of the area, from 1250 to 3300 metres, and its 2240 metre vertical drop, mean that the snow is guaranteed, and there are 44 ski lifts on site.
