The charm begins as soon as you arrive: the Avoriaz ski resort is entirely pedestrianised, so you'll be transported to your accommodation by horse-drawn sleigh. Your ski holiday will take place on skis, without public transport, driving along streets that have become slopes... Skiing in Avoriaz

From Avoriaz station, you can easily access either the Franco-Swiss Portes du Soleil ski area with the villages of Morzine, Montriond, and its lake, or the authentic resort of Les Gets. Take advantage of exceptional snow conditions and some 650 kilometres of ski runs at altitudes of up to 2450 metres. The Portes du Soleil area gives you access to 296 ski runs served by 194 ski lifts, 11 snowparks, 4 boardercrosses and 90 on-slope restaurants. Beginner skiers and children are not forgotten, thanks to dedicated areas: in the heart of Avoriaz, Le Village des Enfants welcomes little ones from the age of 3! As for fans of new snow sports, they can try out the various equipment labelled Avoriaz Snowzone, Superpipe, Boarder cross or Lil'Stash, for expert or beginner riders.
