Ski resorts are offering more and more after ski activities notably in terms of sports centres. You can thus continue your workouts so your body is ready for skiing but also to keep your body in shape after a day on the slopes.
To relax your muscles after a full day, the Val Thorens swimming and sports centre or the Morzine swimming area propose numerous activities so you can go home relaxed and ready to hit the slopes again in the morning.
To stay in shape, cardio training, fitness classes (step, thighs-abs-gluts, body sculpting, tai chi, ...) or dance classes will be fun allies in your preparation. The fitness facilities will also allow you to work on the exercises we previously saw together and also to take advantage of the personalized advice of a professional coach.
The swimming pools and their sauna, hammam or massages are excellent for recovering after a day on the mountain. A couple laps in the pool will increase endurance and help you to relax. A little time in the hammam or a massage will do more to bring relief to muscles tired by the efforts they had to put forth during a day of skiing.

The La Plagne ski resort offers not only traditional activities for after ski – swimming, spa, weight room, ... – but also more unusual activities like ice skating, indoor climbing, or going down the 1992 Albertville Olympic Games bobsled run. Other resorts organise snow and ice driving lessons, hang-gliding, or even snow mountain biking. But some good, old fashioned sledding in the evening after a day of skiing can also be fun for old and young alike!
